The two best HP laptop for business
After reviewing the specs, examining a few models, and researching the entire laptop market, here is the final list of the best HP laptops for business made by HP. We’ve included a review of those models to help you decide on an informed laptop and buy the machine that best suits your computing needs.
1. HP ENVY 13 Laptop 2020
After giving the previous model a 4.5-star rating in 2019, the HP Envy 13 has enjoyed a long reign as the best laptop under $ 1,000. I was really looking forward to giving the updated model a spin to see if it could hold its own despite being bigger. This is spatial competition. Fortunately, the 11th Gen Intel CPU priced at less than $ 1000 on this Envy 13 offers faster performance and longer battery life than you would expect from a 1000 laptop.
However, the highlight is the elegant aluminum design, which maintains a good balance between form and function. The latter is achieved by offering USB Type-A and Type-C ports with a comfortable keyboard and a nice 1080p display.
HP has put so much effort into making this mid-range laptop feel like a flagship device that the decision to go with a plastic trackpad is confusing. It’s a frustrating cost-cutting measure, but it doesn’t break the contract when jealousy does a lot for the right price. For its excellent price, the Envy 13 deserves our place in the ranking of the best 13-inch laptops and the best laptops in general.
HP Envy 13 Price and Configuration
Starting at $ 899 (selling at $ 849 at the time of writing), below are the flagship models like the Envy 13 Dell XPS 13, MacBook Pro, and HP Specter x360.
Jealousy 13 has different configurations; I’ll highlight some of them. The 849 base model comes with a 1080p non-touch display as well as an Intel Core i5-1135G7 CPU with 8GB RAM and a 256GB SSD.
Our review unit costs $ 949, but it comes in gorgeous Pal Gold and is equipped with 16GB RAM and a 1080p touchscreen. If you’re good with Silver and don’t need a touch panel, a model with a Core i7-1165G7 CPU, 8GB RAM, and a 256GB SSD costs 1,009.
It doesn’t cost much to upgrade components. For example, with the Core i7 model, you can go from 8GB to 16GB RAM for only $ 40 more (we recommend doing this). Spending another $ 70 doubles your storage on a 512GB SSD, although the 1TB option is expensive, at an additional $ 170. You will have to pay a $ 150 premium on the base 1080p screen to upgrade to a 4K panel.
Stock shortages are an industry-wide problem at the moment, so some setups may require patience.

User Feedback
- I would really like to give a 5 star rating but battery life prevented me from doing so. I bought this beautiful 13.3 ” laptop during Prime Day and so far everything was going well without the battery. Fully charged would not last 12 hours before I charged it and most of the time I was browsing web pages. My 7-year-old Dell can still last 8 to 10 hours with a single charge.
- Perfect in everyway!

2. HP OMEN 15 Laptop
If you’re looking for a powerful laptop that can double as your everyday work or study device, the HP Omen 15 (2021) offers some tempting features at a price that won’t break your bank.
Box provides examples from our review, a UK-based retailer where you can find HP Omen 15 (2021) available for purchase. There are several different configurations available for those who want to optimize areas such as graphics, display, and processing power, but no matter which variant you purchase, there are a number of features that are supported.
The number of ports available, including a built-in SD card reader, 3.5mm audio port, and display port, makes it a great choice for content creators or streamers.
Available for configuration, the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 and RTX 3070 graphics card options ensure that it will run frequently in any game you throw, the 165Hz display is perfect for giving you an edge in competitive games, and the Omen gaming hub software gives you an edge. Provides a lot. Performance optimization.
Of course, there are some caveats. It has a very noticeable flex in the chassis, which can keep the cost low, so if you apply too much pressure you will find yourself bending the lid or base. Many laptops do have some flexibility, of course, so unless you’re set to buy a super powerful device that you can really beat, it won’t cause too much trouble.
The HP Women 15 also manages to keep it surprisingly cool, but some pretty loud fans have to listen to the tradeoff. Again, this is far from unusual, especially when there is a demand for applications powered by gaming laptops, but these were notoriously annoying.
There are definitely Bifier laptops on the market, and the priceless design of the HP Omen 15 may not win over die-hard fans of glam RGB lighting or glamorous aesthetics, but it does stand out as one of the best ‘mid-range’ in the neighborhood. The device at this time.

If you need something a little more powerful, you can configure Omen 15 on HP’s website with Ryzen 9 5900HX, an RTX 3070 graphics card, and T 1989.99 with 1TB M.2 SSD storage, but the maximum configuration is available. We’ve tested that there are more customizations available on the U.S. website than in any other English-speaking region, but regardless of which settings are right for your needs, they’re quite valuable for what you get.
